This track was originally written in Eb standard tuning and was really just something i was messing around with for a while. When it finally dawned on me how great of an intro it could be i changed it to a drop Db tuning to better flow into track number 2. i originally intended the intro track to be written with my 7 string guitar but i wasnt coming up with any suitable ideas. i consider the song to just have 4 sections all revolving around the same couple chords, just changing up some rhythms to give a good flow. i added some "swell" type guitars to the background to fill it up a bit. i originally wanted to use an ebow but i didnt have one yet! the ending guitar solo was a very last minute addition and was the last part of the album that i wrote. i recorded this song with my es335 and axefx ultra
