2020 was a bad year... but despite all that has happened, i managed to write and record an album that i'm incredibly proud of. an album that i think might just be my greatest to date.

the idea started off in early 2020 as just a 3 song EP but quickly turned into 5 songs, then 8, then 11 as my creative juices kept pouring out. my main goal beyond anything else was to focus on the riffs. hence the title BIG RIFF ENERGY.

i wanted an album that i could play front to back with a 1 guitar and not have any tuning changes (everything is in Drop D). most of all, i wanted to write songs that were fun to listen to as well as fun for me to play. i really hope you enjoy it.
